Samhain 2023. On the North part of the Globe we can feel the influence of from the evening 31st of October till the evening of the 1st of November.

In Czech Language úterý (BTL útek) 31. října (BTL říje) till 1. listopadu (BTL leaves fell down).

Samhain holiday is called as a cross-quarter day, it does mean we celebrate this day in the half time between equinoxes and solstice day. In the North part of the Globe it is the half between the shortest and the longest day in the calendar. Other cross-quarter day is in celtic calendar called Imbolc. Samhain is celebrated as a opposite pole to Beltain, just right after half of the year.

Why I am talking about Samhain.

First, we are close to those days.

Second, we are facing to the time change in our country, which is making every time huge amount of discussion and also different feelings and let say certain discomfort to more sensitive part of the society.

Second point is for me very much connected with our health. In last article, I was talking or headline was talking about NIVA. This word is in our country very much connected with cheese. BUT it is not only the word for CHEESE. You can maybe smile, but CELTIC culture is very much connected with forests and with thew wisdom of the trees. And this is what the druids and celtics also music is so much talking about.

There are forests, called "nivníů in Czech language, in English floodplain forests. This is a part of valley, which is regularly flooded by the water, by the river. Part of the valley very much influenced, formed and shaped by the floods. And this is about what we are very much talking about within the whether and climatic changes. I am so happy to say, that this is the topic so much cared and promoted by the one worldwide company. I am so proud to tell I had the chance to work for.
